! error reading file

Upon transferring a file from my local drive to the website folder, I get this message on the Wise-FTP with no error numbers next to it..."! error reading file". Also when I refresh my screen, I look over on the file transfer box and the file is there except it has 0 (zero) bytes. The file transfered but there is nothing in it. Did anyone ever experience this and is there a fix for it? Thanks

Hello,

Some applications and services on your machine might open files in exclusive mode so no other applications could read such a file. Most probably the file you tried to transfer in Wise-FTP had been "locked" by another application or service.

So make sure the transferred file is not opened in an other program and try to transfer it again.
