I am a 1and1 user. I downloaded the version they offered and installed it. I then hit live update to make sure I was using the most current version. Now, it says it is unregistered. I am now using 3.0.0.18. I would like to use 3.1. Should I receive an activation code? I tried the activation feature and nothing happened.

Also, the import command doesn't work. I put in user and pass and a dialog box flashes up and disappears. I have to hit cancel to leave that dialog, but nothing gets imported. Is something not working?

I've seen other users on this forum having problems similar to both of those I'm experiencing. Hopefully, there is a solution.

Hello,

There was a faulty version of WiseFTP delivered to some 1&1 customers a while ago - this might cause the trouble. Please de-install that version and install the most current 1&1 version. You can find that version at this download link:

http://212.227.222.247/service1u1/wiseftp3.exe

With this version your unlock code (1&1 call it license number) should work just fine.

The problems with the import function seem to appear from time to time at certain 1&1 user accounts, unfortunately we could not repdocude this error yet. We suggest, that you enter your connection information manually, thanks a lot for your understanding.
