1and1 WISE-FTP Uninstall

My copy from 1and1 shows 'Trial Version (3.0) Has Expired'. I tried to activate after requesting code, but it asks for unlock code. Is there some unlock code that I need to continue to use this versions?

Please contact 1 and 1 concerning your unlock code. Usualy it can be found in their control panel under "Software licences".

I'm trying to uninstall and replace. but uninstall fails ... looking for setup.ini on DISK1 ... no such directory anywhere under ACEBIT program folder. I've searched forum, etc. no hits that I can see .. how do you get around this to remove WISE-FTP and reinstall?

I found out how to remove WISE-FTP trial versions. By deleting or renaming wiseftp.exe, the uninstall then works.

As far as 1and1's version of WISE-FTP, as long as you do not perform a LIVE UPDATE, the version will never expire. Otherwise, the 30day counter gets tripped to start.

Also, if you download and install the following 1and1 version, it should also reverse the 30day timer.
