The database editor is used for Hello Engines! AND Ranking Toolbox. For adding a engine to Ranking Toolbox you don't need to fill out all Tabs and fields.

Under submit cost you can enter how much is the submission fee of this engine. You need this only for Hello Engines!.
The field LAST CHECK CRC shows the last checksum of this engine. This field is filled out automatically after runnning a CRC check of the engines included in your database.

In the options of Ranking Toolbox you can select the database you like to use. Just click on Options -> Options and select the SearchEngine.cds file of your created database.
