When I go to schedule a backup in the schedule location I hav ethe above error with the settings button, greyed out, over the word acebackup

Error is Access violation at address 005070A7 in module Acebackup (I think because of the word setting).

I am using the latest version of Vista

Could you please send us some screenshots of this problem at support@acebit.com so that we could have a look at it? Which version of AceBackup are you using (Help-> about)?

I solved the problem.

When first creating the backup, set a schedule there. Then it will allow you to change it later.

I just figured this one out rather quickly. In Vista, you need to run the program as Administrator.
