I want AceBIT to run automatically on the schedule I put in, is this possible or must I just minimise the program and leave it running?

Hi,

You do not have to open AceBackup or leave it open. When the scheduled backup starts it is done in the background. Please check the following to be sure that the backup is done:

1) Please make sure that the Task Scheduler service is activated and starts automatically.
2) Please make sure that the task was created with the correct username and password. (open Control Panel -> Scheduled Tasks and doubleclick on the task of AceBackup. Choose the option "Set password" to enter the correct password). Please check also if the option "activated" is marked.

To be sure that your backup was done you can let AceBackup send you an email.
