I start Wise-FTP and am forced to Activation process, so select next and enter Email, co name, my name and select next. I request activation key, Norton Internet Security asks if this is OK and I reply. Nothing happens. Ctl-Alt-Del and program Wise-FTP not responding. Forced to terminate program--sometimes it will stop and other times only power-down will kill it. This always happens, even after I saw how to turn off the scheduler process. Now I cannot restart or shut down computer except by pressing and holding power button. Obviously something wrong.
This is on a Dell Dim 8300 running XP at SP 2 current all patches.
How do I get past this activation issue?
