With the latest update I now have a situation where the icons showing for files and directories in both local and remote panels are completely wrong. I'm sure this only happened with the latest update I installed today.

We are sorry for the problems - we were not aware of that until now. What exactely is wrong with the icons which are shown? Are there no icons at all or are they mixed up or what else?
And another important thing: Which operating system do you have on your computer?

I run Windows 200 Pro. The icons show but are wrong. For example a .php file shows as a linked (or in Windows terms a shortcut) directory icon, others show as for example CD-Rom type icon. See attached image.

Is there any update on this problem yet, because of it I am not currently able to use this program in case it affects more than simply the icon display.

Could you please update to the latest version 5.5.7 to see, if the problem was solved? Our developers have dealt with this problem and it would be great if you could confirm that it is now working correctly.

Certainly seems to be wokring now OK. I'll do some more testing later today but yes looks good.
