Authent Password File with Key automatically

Postby valamas » Tue Aug 24, 2010 6:41 am

Hello,

I am authenticating my password file using a local key file.

When my computer starts, it automatically starts Password Depot. However, the authentication window is still showing where I have to click OK. The program should start and minimize to the system tray without asking because it knows about the key file. Is there an option for this?

I hope there is.

thank you,
Valamas

Hello,

Unfortunately, there is no option for this, this initial dialog has always to be confirmed with OK.

Best regards

Hi,

thanks. Is there any reason why there would not be an option for this? If not, please add it to a future release.

thanks,

In general it is dangerous to support automated opening of confidential password files. Of course in your case it would make sense, but in general we do not recommend such practice (to put the key file together with the psw file in one place).
