I have installed AceBackup on a customer’s machine running Win2000 Professional.

I receive the following error when attempting to schedule tasks (backups):

“Zugriffsverletzung bei Adresse 004C5970 in Modul ‘AceBackup.exe’. Lesen von Adresse 00000000.”

Can anyone explain what this means in English and perhaps provide a possible fix? I have installed the software successfully on other machines and have never had this problem.

Is there a user out there that knows what this is?? Please help ASAP!!!

The errormessage is a exeption.

What Windows service packs are installed on the machine of your client?

Have you installed the latest version of AceBackup?

I believe that the system is running SP4.

I got the AceBackup2003.exe file from the download section of the acebackup.com web site.

Anything I can be doing differently to improve this problem???

Thanks!!

Currently there is nothing to do on your side. We will check what happens and take a look inside the sources. If there is a general problem with AceBackup we will release an update.
