I am finding using Wise FTP in SFTP mode that on uploading large directories of file (in particular groupoffice
http://group-office.sourceforge.net)) that wise ftp fails uploading and can't upload all files. Not sure if this is specific to SFTP?
Also I'm wondering why when deleting a directory wise-ftp has to delete file by file (it takes ages!) it's quicker to login via ssh and rm -r directory. Is this a limitation of the commands available?
It would be nice to see the feature to untar files on the server using the ftp software! Anything that saves bags of time is always good.
