I tried to move a folder on the remote system to another folder on the same system. I can grab a folder, move it, and let go of the mouse button when it's over a different folder, but nothing happens.

If I right click on the first folder and select "Move Folder", it works, so this is not a permissions problem.

This is on 3.0.0.7. Am I misisng an update, or is it a known problem?

Hello,

the version you use is very old. Please first run the integrated Live-Update to install the free update to release 3.1 (3.1.1). This also solves some bugs and other problems of older versions. Does it work after this update?
