Error 530
Hi All,
Just started using this today in conjunction with FastHosts.
My problem is that I am trying to get my files onto the remote server and need to create an account. I have followed the steps given to Gemma in the post below but am confronted by an Login Authentication 530 error.
What am I doing wrong?
Regards
Garry

Re: Error 530
Hello,
as the error message "530 Login incorrect" indicates, there seems to be a problem with your access data. Please make sure that you entered your username and password correctly - they are case-sensitive. Furthermore the server address should be entered without any prefixes like http:// or www (e.g. mysite.com).
Please try passive and active mode for connecting to your server.
If you want, you can send your complete access data via mail to support@acebit.com and we will try to establish a test connection. All information will be treated confidential and will only be used for testing purposes. Please refer to this thread in your subject line.
Best Regards,
