I use a backup program to FTP my data daily. It creates a folder on the server called, for example, "March 18, 2006 (02.00)."

I know that folder is there because I contacted my host's support and they verified the folder is there.

When I use Wise to try to verify the data did make it to the server, I see "h 18, 2006 (02.00)" in the remote system window and the log says "550 /backup/h 23, 2006 (02.00): No such file or directory"

Why can't I see the folder on the server called "March 18, 2006 (02.00)"?

Oops, sorry for the confusion - that should be:

Hello,

it seems that your FTP server is sending non-conform directory informations. Which version of Wise-FTP are you using?

Hello,

the version you use is very old. Please run the integrated "live update" to install the update to release 3.1 of WISE-FTP, this should fix this problem. This update is free for you.

I have one device that does the same thing. It cuts off the first 2 characters of the directory name. If I connect to it with IE it works fine. I am running 3.1.1 Other sites work ok but this one device gives me trouble.

Hello,

this device sende non-standard directory information, which leads to this display errors. We are currently working for a hotfix for this issue.
