Complacency though is not a secure or good option. If you, as I do. often have to use a Internet Cafe, scan that computer for spyware at least. Most Cafes do this anyhow and by asking you educate those that do not (run your own scan regardless)
SpyBot Search & Destroy is a freeware SpyWare detection program that will run from your USB drive, as does Password Depot. I always ask the proprietor if I can spyware scan, so far never been refused (If they say no go to another business)
