I purchased full license for Wise-FTP today.

Problem?

Yes! Now that I have purchased full version, I cannot activate it.

Trial Version was very easy to download & activate – Full paid version is not!

INSTALLATION HISTORY THUS FAR:

Wise-FTP Trial Version:
I downloaded Wise-FTP Trial version on the 27/February/2007
This trial was activated successfully with Activation Key

Wise-FTP 5 Fully Paid Version:
I purchased full Wise-FTP 5 version today.
Upon entering dialogue for unlocking paid version, I’m requested to Retrieve an Activation Key (Not sure why I would need an activation Key, for a paid version, when I received an unlocking code upon purchase, of FULL product – Where’s the logic behind that?).

When I fill form with my details & request activation key, activation protocol fails, & I receive error message: "Could not connect to AceBit Activation server"

PLEASE NOTE:
As per the error message suggestion, I have allowed acebit “Wise-FTP 5” for my computer’s firewall, & http://www.acebit.com/ on Internet Explorer security settings.

I have also done a clean re-install

Alas it doesn’t make any difference!

I have downloaded & activated 100's of software programs, but have never come across this problem before....

SOMEONE HELP!!!!

unfortunately we had problems with our servers. Now you should be able to request the activation code. If not, please write an e-mail to support@acebit.com with a reference to this thread. Thank you in advance!

Thanks for the update - Everything is running smooth now - I have activated my WISE-FTP 5 successfully (now that the servers are up & running).
