Importing Password from version 1.X into 2.X

Hi,

How I should import a psw file created with password 1.X into 2.X?
Is it through import/export menu or there is a more easy way?

You can just open any Password Depot 1.x file in version 2 by chossing FILE/OPEN. However, once you save the psw file with version 2 you will no longer be able to open it in version 1.x.

Hi,

if I open an old psw-file in the new client I got after enterin the password 'Invalid file format'!

In Version 1 I have no problem to open that file.

What's going wrong?

have you contacted our support with this problem before? If not, please send the password file (WITHOUT the masterpassword) to the following email address : support@acebit.com .Normaly it should be working without problems, but a few customers seem to have problems here, so that we need to investigate this. Thanks a lot in advance!
