After I upload a file to our hosted Web server via FTP, the Internet connection often is lost. The connection is lost after transferring even a small file (e.g. a page of HTML). Sometimes, even after transferring a larger file (e.g. 10MByte) the connection is OK. This happens only when I've transferred the file(s) using WISE-FTP.

This problem is difficult to diagnose because it's intermittent. It occurs 50% of the times I transfer a file. My Internet service is provided by BT Business; our Web server is hosted by 1&1. Is there any history of problems using WISE-FTP with BT or 1&1? Probably not 1&1 since WISE-FTP was originally part of their package, which raises suspicions about BT.
