Hello, I have just loaded HE std 3.2.0.0 with DB 3.0.0.0 for the first time from a CD I received when I opened a Oneandone web hosting package. Although I have had the CD for about 2 yrs I never attempted to load the HE software until yesterday and the first thing that happened was that although it loaded succesfully I was informed that the software update capability had expired in Dec 04 - yet I had not even loaded the software then. This seems very unfair. I needed to use HE quickly so I bought a db update package HE std 3.x although I thought I should have been able to get my first updates free when I bought the software. When I attempted to change the unlock key to the new one provided to get my db updates I repeatedly get the error message that the unlock code is invalid. The number has been entered correctly, there are no Os or 0s to get mixed up. I have tried removing my winzip software (inc a restart). I have temorarily disabled my internet security (now reactivated) all to no good use. It seems that when I enter the new unlock code I can download both new HE software - vs 3.2.9.4 and a new db 3.4.0.0 but for some reason and error is thrown up. This results in two obvious things - I am no longer able to see any of the search engines that would be targeted and on the unlock page I am no longer able to select the country (UK) for my address details because countries only down to Guatamala are listed and everything after that is mysteriosly missing.

Some help please. It seems that I can't use the system when I ought to be able to and I still can't even after I have paid for an update that I shouldn't really need to buy.

Thank you.

Hello,

could you please send us both your unlock codes to our eMail-address support@acebit.com? We will check these keys then and if necessary manually send you a correct code or a link to the correct software version if something is wrong with this.
