Hello,

First, you can specify a default download directory for each ftp-sever you work with. Click Tools|Site Manager, select a site and enter full path into "Local Folder" field. Wise-FTP will automatically open this local folder in Local System view when you connect to choosen ftp-server.

Next, after you connected to a ftp-server you can change current directory in Local View by the same way as in Windows Explorer: double click on a folder icon to open it, use "Up" button to go one level up, and so on.

When you select files/folders in Remote System view and click "Download", Wise-FTP downloads the selected items into current directory in Local System view.

Best regards
