Manual MySQL Database creation?

Is it possible to manually setup the MySQL database?

When ever I click Create Database WinSurvey just hangs...
I have verifed that the information entered is correct.

Hello,

The problem is that WinSurvey creates MySql tables using parameters of your actual survey file, so the number of fields, their names, types, lengths, etc. depend on the survey's structure. Therefore, manual creating of MySql tables is possible in principle but would be rather very complicated task.

If it is possible, send us your .sur file with the DB connectivity parameters. We will try to find the reason of the connection failure and provide you with a solution.
