Actually, as I recall, the software would not minimize with a dialogue box open. What I was doing was changing passwords using Password Depot's technology to give me random passwords. I would open the site, request a change and then go back to PD4 and request a change. I would then copy the password into the web site and save it. However, I do not believe you can minimize the program with an open dialogue box.
My problem would occur when I desired to keep the program open but not active. I would minimize it to the Windows 7 task bar. It was then that the problem would occur. The task bar icon would normally show a lighter window around applications that were open for use. With PD4, it would appear as if unopened. I could not then again access the program until I used Task Manager to kill the process - which was still active according to the active process window.
I could use the program with other open windows for other programs 'as long as I did not minimize the program'. Once minimized, it became inoperable. This caused me to lose some work with passwords already completed but fortunately, I had saved the passwords in more than one program.
