Hi All,

I have installed Password Depot Server 3 onto my Vista Box. The service is running and port 25800 is open and accepting connections (however; I cannot login)

The problem I have is that I cannot load the Control Panel: I have tried all 3 methods (Start->All Progs... / Control Panel / command window) and non of them launch the control Panal.
So I thought I'll just use the default account (ID: admin Pswd: admin) but this returns a login error.

I've reinstalled the program serveral times. I have disabled Avast and also tried running in Windows XP SP2 Compatability mode... please help??

Hello,

at the moment, Password Depot Server is not completely compatible with Windows Vista. When Password Depot Server was started by the NT service, it runs under system account and you cannot access it from your desktop.

We will release an improved version of the server soon. Currently the only workaround is to stop the process of pwd_srv.exe via Task Manager and then launch the server from the system program menu.
