I was playing a game while Pass.Depot was running, and the game froze my computer. After restarting, I was unable to run Pass.Depot. I start the program and receive the following error message: "0 - is not a valid property value! Value must be between [1..3]!"

I have tried uninstalling, reinstalling, and using a WinXP restore point to fix this issue with no success.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

Thanks,

Andy

Hello,

We answered your e-mail already, but here is the solution again:

Please open the folder <My Documents>\Password Depot\ and locate the file 'pwdepot.ini'. Open the file 'pwdepot.ini' in any text editor and remove the line:

Language=0

After that restart the program. We will investigate how this value '0'
appear and fix this issue in the nearest update.

I have been getting the same error, however, my pwdepot.ini has Language=1. The file is in the "C:\Program Files\AceBIT\Password Depot 2" folder, however, not in My Documents\Password Depot.

I also tried removing the Language entry entirely and that still didn't help.

Hello,

in the most current version, the path to the correct pwdepot.ini changed to C:\Documents and Settings\<YOUR USERNAME>\Application Data\AceBIT\Password Depot 2

Please open the pwdepot.ini you will find at that path and edit it like mentioned before, thanks!
