I have used the Update Manager to update my Password Depot to the latest 3.1.7 on my Vista Home Premium system. PD appeared to download and indicated it would restart....but it did not. I restarted the computer and the version of PD installed is still build 3.1.6.0.

I did this twice on an administrator user account and once on a standard user account with the same results.

What's happening? What should I do?

We have occasionally already heard of this problem with the Update Manager. We would suggest that you download the latest version 3.1.7 directly from our homepage: http://www.password-depot.com/downloading.htm .

Yes, that worked very well. I assumed I could do it this way but I was relying on the update manager. Thanks!
