I'm using the trial version of Wise FTP 5 and it works well except for the synchronising of directnories. I want to synchronise a folder from a remote site that has lots of pictures in it. When I view it on my local computer a 'thumbs.db' local file is created by XP to show the thumbails. The 'thumbs.db' file is not visible in explorer, but next time I do a synchronisation the scheduler tries to upload the thumbs.db file as it is not present on the server.

Can I prevent the scheduler from viewing operating system files?

no, we are very sorry, but this is not possible - all files are visible to the WiseFTP scheduler and unfortunately there is no option to disable this, sorry.
