Pro Version thinks it is Freeware

Postby sw33n3ys » Mon Dec 31, 2007 8:25 pm

I have an issue that I hope you can help me with.

I started using Password Depot in the freeware version a few years ago. Last year I upgraded to the Pro version because I like the program so much. I purchased on 080407, reference number 900038.

Recently, I upgraded my computer to Vista, and ever since that time if I want to add a new password the program asks me to upgrade to the Pro version. I enter the code that you sent me and the program operates normally until I need to restart, then I get the upgrade prompt again.

Can you advise me how to fix this, please? It is very inconvenient to use like this.
Thanks ~ SS

We assume that something goes wrong during the activation process. Could you please send a short email to support@acebit.com and request a key file. The key file can be placed into your program directory and then the program will work always as Pro version.

We just need an email from you, because we can`t send you the key file via the forum. Thanks!

Hello,

we had sent you the key file by e-mail after you had written us your e-mail. Maybe you can tell us another e-mail-address where we can sent the key file? You can also give us the address by PM if you want to.

Best regards

Last week I had the same problem on Windows Vista. It seems to be a rights issue. Try this way which worked fine for me: Right click on PD in the start menu and execute the programm as administrator. After that you can activate PD.

Michael
