Hi, I'm new to the Password Depot program, so I'm still figuring out how to work it most effectively. I'm having a problem with the way it responds in GMail, though. When I first set it up, the autocomplete function worked fine for my existing password.

Today, I decided to change my Gmail password, as it has been a while since I did so. I had PD generate a 50 character random password for me and I entered that as my GMail password. Now the autocomplete function does not work properly--every time I use it, the username and password are entered and then GMail goes back to the login screen.

When I drag and drop the username and password, the login works fine, though, so I got the password right. (Don't ask about the Yahoo password! :-\)

Any ideas what might be happening here?

this could be a problem with the auto-complete sequence. Which sequence do you use for this password? Unfortunately we do not have access to an GMail account here.

I use the basic <user><tab><pass><enter> autocomplete

could you please try what happens when you use autocomplete in a text editor, for example a notepad window? Does the sequence work correctly? What is the version of Password Depot you use?
