I am successfully logged in with my user and password. When I start to begin to transfer files from my desktop to the website side to upload, it tells me "Access Denied".

I am trying to upload an html page that I want to become my temporary homepage. Once it got connected, but when I attempted to upload it it seemed to take forever and nothing happened.

What do you suggest? I really am so new to this and just trying to figure it out. Shouldn't it be easy to just upload a single page? It is a page that I created in photoshop and saved as .html ... should I be using a different format?

Any help is so appreciated!

Hello,

what version of WiseFTP are you using exactly? (See "Help" -> "About")
Please make sure you have the right to write to the desired directory. Have you tried different places?
Can you please post the complete ftp-log of such an failed upload attempt? This would help us to reproduce the error here, thanks a lot!

It is version 3.0.

How do I know if I have rights to post or not? Currently my website has nothing up at all ... I was just trying to put up a plain home page saying "coming soon" ...
