 Post subject: Registration Problems

I had a trial version of Ranking Toolbox installed on my computer. I
recently purchased a copy ( through 1 and 1 ) and I'm unable to get the registration code to
stick. I enter all the information and it thanks me for registering and all
seems fine but when I restart it tells me my trial period has expired and I
need to purchase it. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the program from the 1 and 1 disk
but it doesn't seem to work.

Any suggestions?

This looks like you try to unlock latest version 3.1 with your 1&1 unlock key. This will not work. Please note that you can only unlock the version of RT which you received on the 1&1 CD.

I also tried to upgrade to the latest version. Is what you posted above mean that "we" who obtained a copy of your software through 1&1, cannot upgrade ever?

Please note that all updates are free within a release (e.g. from 1.0 to 1.3, 1.2 to 1.9 etc.).

However, in order to upgrade from version 1.x to the latest 3.x please purchase a new upgrade license. The upgrade from 1.x to 3.x costs 99,00 $ instead of 149,00 $ (regular price).

Maybe there is a miscommunication somewhere or either you are unaware of what version of your product is being bundled through 1&1. The version of the software that I have is “Program Version 3.0.0.5 (3.0.0.6) Database Version 1.0.0.0”

Is this version available to be upgraded or not?

Thank you for the clarification. Of course you can upgrade this version. However, you can not use the latest version from our website, since it uses a different unlock key.

We will provide you with details asap. Thanks for your patience.

I received RT4 on cd from 1and1 but the activation code will not work. please help.

Hello,

Please contact our email support at support@acebit.com and send them your valid unlock code. 1&1 customers can retrieve the unlock code in their personal command center on the 1&1 website (they call it license key). Our support team will check the unlock code and contact you as soon as possible. Please dont post the unlock code here at the forum!
