I am using version 3.1.2. In updating 2 web sites I have no problem with one site, but in the other I am unable to see the contents of the remote folder, and to upload to that site. It seems to connect, but just can't see what's at the other end, and update on the server. I am using XP home.

It would help us, if you could post the content of the log, which includes all error messages.

Hi there. When connecting to the site the log shows te following

! Connecting to headcomplements.com.au ... (10/06/2009 9:07:42 PM)
< 220 Microsoft FTP Service
> USER headcomplements
< 331 Password required for headcomplements.
> PASS (hidden)
< 230 User headcomplements logged in.
> SYST
< 215 Windows_NT
> PWD
< 257 "/" is current directory.
> PASV
< 227 Entering Passive Mode (202,72,147,209,88,73)
> LIST
< 125 Data connection already open; Transfer starting.
< 226 Transfer complete.
! 0 bytes sent/received in 0 seconds (0 Bytes/sec)

At this stage a folder with a "/" is shown but the contents are not seen the remote folder window. I then try to upload a file, which results in the following log.

It looks like the account you are using to connect to the server has no enough access rights. Could you ever successfully work with this account before?

Can you please ask your ISP if your account has access to the root-directory of this server? Maybe you can change the access rights of this account in the control-panel of your ISP.
