Restore and Upgrade Issue
I had a hard disk crash and want up upgrade from V2 to latest version as part of my upgrade. I do not have my previous activation code and want to know if I can give you the e-mail address that was used to purchase the original system will you be able to find my details? I want to re-install V2 - re-activate and then upgrade. I do have soem backups of my data for version 2 but I do not think I have the original activation code.
Please advise.

Hello,
In order to upgrade to version 4, you will not need your unlock code or activation key for version 2, because you will receive new codes for this version.
But if you would like to keep version 2 as well, we can look up your unlock code in our database anyway, just send us some more details about your order to support@acebit.com (the email address used, your full name, the approximate date of order).
The upgrade version 2 ->4 is available for 19.95 EUR here: http://www.password-depot.com/order.htm

I have sent you an e-mail to the support account as requested. Please try and find my actiavtion code.
Is it possible for me to re-install from the backup of the Program File folder that I have? Please let me know.

Hello,
in order to reinstall Password Depot 2 you can download the program for free from our website. You will find it here: http://www.password-depot.com/download/previous.htm
But the program will only run in trial mode first. As soon as you have the unlock code for Password Depot 2, you can unlock the program to full version.
If you have any backups of your password lists, you can reopen and save them anew in Password Depot 2. Just select File -> Open -> Browse. Browse for the corresponding backup of your passwordlist, reopen it and save it again.
