Restore files not accessable

Postby cook » Mon Apr 07, 2008 3:34 pm

I'm not able to open the backup files from the Project folder to do a restore. The files do exsists in the back up folder, so it's not a case that the files are missing, there's just no access to the files to restore. When the name is selected from the Project manager the correct name appears but when selecting the name to access the backed up files they do not appear. Also "Expand" in the drop down is grayed out. No error message appears. The path to the back up files appears to be correct. Have re-booted with no effect.

Hello,

could you please use the function Project -> Verify? Which version of AceBackup are you using exactly (Help/About)?

Thanks, that worked! In the error report is says "xxx file" was found on the backup media and added to the project. So we must have something set up wrong. (It had been working in the past.) Any clue as to what that might be and how to correct it? The version is: Version 2 (2.1.6, 2.1.6.0).

Thanks again for the help.

Hello,

there might be many reasons why this problem appears. For example the files might be deleted occasionally or the project file was not updated correctly. For such cases, the function Project -> Verify is there.
