I seemingly successfully upload an amended document from my local to the remote system, but when I look at the website the entire text section is missing. I keep repeating and refreshing but it is still missing.

Any ideas on what might be the problem?

please make sure that the Binary mode transfer is checked. This problem might happen when a binary document is uploaded in the ASCII mode.

Thanks very much - but I have now tried binary mode several times and it's still not appearing on the home page. I just had a look at the document in the remote system and it wouldn't open - it listed a 'Microsoft JScript compliation error', Expected ';'

Any ideas?

could you please tell us what the average speed of upload is and which kind of connection to the internet you are using?

Please also try the following: in the Site Manager select the server and on the tab Advanced uncheck the option "use global speed limits" and set the values for the upload and download to 20 KB/sec and 100 KB/sec.
