I have noticed that my upload speeds to my 1&1 ftp server have slowed to half of my upload capabilities. I first thought it was on there end. I recently discovered that if I use <Mitbewerber xy> my upload speed is twice as fast. Example, with Wise-FTP 5.5.3 I am only able to upload at around 80 KB/s. When I use <Mitbewerber xy> I upload at 160 KB/s.

Is there a fix of setting that I can use to correct this problem? What confused me is that it started around July 18, 2007 when 1&1 transferred my account to the new server center. I assumed it was due to that until I used <Mitbewerber xy> as a test. I have extra bandwidth for my uoloads explaining my speeds of 160 to 200 KB/s. It is not cheap and I need to utilize it.

How many simultaneous connections are <Mitbewerber xy> and WiseFTP using to transfer files? In WiseFTP you can see that in the preferences at "Connection and Transfer" -> "Max Threads.". Are you using active or passive connection mode? Or maybe SFTP? (see profile of your server).

I only have one connection at a time. <Mitbewerber xy> still has twice the upload speed of Wise-FTP 5.5.4.

My capable upload speed is about 188 KBps, twice the usual up speed of most ISP's.

As an example, when I upload a file with Wise-FTP I am able to obtain about 60-70 KBps. If I cancel that upload and use <Mitbewerber xy> I will obtain upload speeds of 120-145 KBps. I am uploading these file to my 1and1 ftp server in both cases.

There is something in Wise-FTP that is slowing the up stream.
