Hi,

I just got a copy of Hello Engine and keep getting a message says I need the full version for almost everything I click on. The search engine submit is also always grayed out after I select the engines. I was under the impression this was going to be the full version. Can you please let me know what the deal is?

Thank-you.

Hello,

yes, usually you get the full version from 1&1. But before being able to use it as a full version, you first need to unlock your program. For this you got the unlock code (license number) from 1&1. Usually you can find this number online on the 1&1 website in the customer center. With this key you should be able to unlock the program.

Hello,

did you try to unlock the software with the activation key and your personal unlock code?

If the problem still occurs, please send an email to support@acebit.com with your unlock code for validating.

Hello,

we are not sure if the eMail we received corresponds to this topic, but it seems to be the case. We sent you an answer to your eMail already.

I am having the same problem. I have loaded, removed and re-loaded the software several times. I have used my code from 1&1 and received my activation code. But still have the same problems mentioned in this email stream. I cannot use the submit buttons or several of other ones. What should I do next. I have contacted 1&1 and they tell me they cannot help. Can you?

Hello,

of course we can.
Please send a more detailed failure description via mail to our support or post it here. Which buttons do not work in which circumstances? Is your product already registered? You can check this in the menue "Help" -> "About".

Thanks in advance.

How do I get help over the phone? this email conversation is not acceptable. I have sent several emails and gotten responses from you, but your responses don't work.

After several attempts at activation, it appears I am still working with a TRIAL version.

When I click on 'websites' , my 'site analyzer' button is disabled.

Also, I cannot add a URL to my URL list.

Also, my submit button does is not enabled. It does not appear I can submit my website to selected search engines.

The bottom line is that I have had a new website for several months and cannot get connected to website search engines. I NEED to do that.

Hello,

unfortunately we currently can only offer support by eMail and this support forum. Did you already receive a registry-file from us to unlock your program and did you send us your unlock code to our support address (support@acebit.com) already? Which windows version do you use and what is the exact version information of your Hello Engines (see menu Help -> About)?

Windows XP (home)

Hello engines:
version 4.1.11.0 (4.1.11.0) Database version: 2.2.0.0

Yes, I did submit my unlock code and received the following
activation key:
234TVXQTKIVGU

At one point in the conversation with 1&1, they thought I needed to
un-install and re-install. I tried this, but still no luck. They then told
me to contact you. They also mentioned something about going in to
my regestry and doing something there. I have not done anything special to my regestry.

Hello,

this version information indicates that your version is correctly unlocked! So what functions exactly do not work with your installation of Hello Engines?

Maybe I need some additional instructions on how to use your product.

After I filled out the projcet info, and the website info and selected the engines that wanted to have my website info submitted to, I expected to be able to submit, but the submit button is NOT enabled. This is the same question I have seen asked from other 1&1 users.

I assumed the problem was due to the information box that I received after unlocking my software. The information box indicates that I can now use my TRIAL version. Maybe I just need more info on how to setup my info to be submitted to search engines.

Hello,

Maybe the "Submit" button is disabled, because you did not enter all the required information. To enable this button, proceed as follows:

- Make sure you have filled in all the fields in the PROJECT/DATA section.

- Click the ADD button in the PROJECT/WEBSITES section (you find this button on the right of the "Current website" field).

- Fill in the fields on the DATA tab (Title, Description etc.)

- Then you click the URL List tab. Here you enter one or more valid URLs. The format should be like this : http://www.yourdomain.com
It only works WITH http://

- After all these steps the "Submit" button should be enabled.

NOTE: Please note that you can only use one URL in the trial version. To enter several URLs the full version is required.

If this doesnt help you, please send us your project file via e-mail to the following address : support@acebit.com
