I am having several problems sorting the passwords - using version 3.02. If I sort my passwords by importance and switch to top bar mode they are no longer sorted - is anybody else having this problem? If I sort passwords by description and then by importance (which is the way I like to keep mine sorted) and switch to another group and back, they are no longer sorted that way.

There seems to be a lot og bugs sorting passwords, and not least remembering the settings, in Password Depot - or am I doing something wrong?

Using Windows Vista Ultimate.

Hello,

At the moment your passwords are sorted alphabetically when using the top bar. But it might be a nice idea to adopt the sorting of the main program in top bar mode as well - we have to talk to the responsible product manager about this.
The sorting is not stored for every group, so when you change the sorting in group X it will change in group Y as well - maybe this has room for improvement too.

Mirko:

I have version 3.1.1.

If I understand you correctly; you say that the program is designed to only sort passwords alphabetically while in the top bar mode.

But, for me, if I choose to sort by importance in the main program, then switch to top bar mode the passwords are not sorted alphabetically. Instead they seem to be shuffled in no particular order, thereby making it diffucult to find passwords without going back to main program.

It would be better if they sorted alphabetically as you stated, and even better if they sorted in the same manner as they are sorted in the main program.

Hello,

thank you for your consideration. We forwarded it to the responsible product manager.
