I sometimes have a strange issue with Password Depot. When I click the Auto-complete username and password it only fills in the password in the username part of the website I am on and the password is for a second visible. Then it tries to log-in and obviously this isn't possible because only the password is filled in and even in the username field and not in the password field.

Hello,

which browser are you using? Are you using the latest version of Password Depot? Is there any rule when the password and user name are not entered correctly?

Best regards

I am using Windows XP Pro Uk version with service pack 3 and Internet Explrer 7 with all latests updates and the last version of Password Depot.

I do not entirely understand what you mean by rule. Could you perhaps explain this a bit further?

Regards,

martin

Hello,

does this problem happen always on the same sites or does it on these sites sometimes work and sometimes not? Did you recognise any website where the problem always happens?

Best regards

To be honest I am not sure. I have the vague feeling it might happen on the same website but i am just not sure. I started doubting when I read this post: http://acebit.com/forum/auto-complete-stumbles-at-one-site-t3666.html-sid=ae85b08dbde92f2c75977361512e6dec?sid=ae85b08dbde92f2c75977361512e6dec.

I could tell you on what site it happened today but that won't do you any good I am afraid, because this site is only for paid customers so you won't be able to register or anything.

Maybe it would be easier to wait for it to happen again and then tell you on what other sites it happens?

Regards,

Martin

Hello,

yes, it would be nice if you can then tell us on which other sites this problem appears. Maybe you can also recognise any special conditions when this problem happens?

Best regards

This is happening with me also on most sites (with or without "rules")

I suspect my Laptop is getting old/slow (4 years old) and with virus checker (Windows live onecare) the hard drive works overtime causing confusion?

I intend to update but waiting for a "quad processor" in laptop for some reason seems slow in coming.?

Hello,

Thank you, for being able to reproduce this and to find the reason for the problem, we really appreciate any information from other users who have the same problem.

Best regards
