Hello, and thanks to the Password Depot team for creating an excellent product!
I have a suggestion for improving the USB Installation Wizard:
1) Add an option to install an AutoRun.inf file on the USB drive so that Password Depot will automatically be run when the drive is inserted into a USB slot, i.e:
Code:
[autorun]
label=Password Depot Travel Disk
icon=AceBIT\Password_Depot_3\PasswordDepot.exe
action=Run Password Depot
open=AceBIT\Password_Depot_3\PasswordDepot.exe
shell\start=Start Password Depot
shell\start\command=AceBIT\Password_Depot_3\PasswordDepot.exe
2) Notice that in order for this to work properly, the SPACES in the \Password Depot\ installation folder must either be removed or replaced with underscores. This may be a bug in Windows XP, not Password Depot, but for whatever reason, with the spaces in the path name, the AutoRun.inf action fails to launch Password Depot from the USB drive.
I made these changes manually to my Password Depot USB install, and have found it to be very convenient, however, since some people do not like AutoRun, I suggest making this an optional rather than a default behavior.
Thanks for your time and keep up the great work!
Tim
