Running Wise-FTP 2.1.3.10 on Win NT4. I can remotely connect to Solaris 2.8 and 2.9 with no problem. However when I try to connect to Dynix/ptx 4.4.10 User name and Password are accepted successfully, but when the SYST command is sent the serer terminates the connection with Unable to Connect, Comand not understood.
FTP from a command prompt and trying the SYST command confirms this and help shows SYST is not recognised by this varient of Unix.
Is there any way of modifying the login script to prevent this command being sent?

Hello,

Unfortunately, there is no way to "switch off" this command. The SYST command is a basic FTP command accordingly to the protocol specification (RFC 959) and the program assumes that all ftp servers recognize it.

Best regards
