I have been looking for the task manager in the hello engines program so that i can schedule tasks to occur on a weekly basis, but it doesn't seem to be available in the program.

I have found the task manager in the ranking toolbox, which allows analysis to be scheduled. But, i was hoping that the search engine submission would be able to be scheduled on a weekly basis.

it does say:
Task Manager for automatic submission according to a schedule
in the hello engines highlights on the site.

Any help on this would be appreciated!

Of course the Task Manager is included in Hello Engines. To schedule a submission, please select Submission/Multi-Detail. From the Explorer column select your project file (the .sit file) by double-clicking on it. After having selected a file and the corresponding search services, click the Scheduler symbol. The Scheduled task wizard opens.

I have been able to find the scheduler, thanks for the help with that. However, i can't seem to get the sheduler to work.

I run through the scheduler wizard, choose all the settings then click finish. I then get this error:

Unable to establish exsistence of the account speccified.

Even though, i have the saved project open and have selected it from the right hand side of the screen. I just can't seem to save a scheduled submission?

Hello,

did you provide correct Login information to the scheduled task? This has to be a valid Windows user and password. If this does not work, you could also try leaving BOTH fields (username & password) blank, then the SYSTEM account is used. Maybe this works better!?

Once an item is scheduled to run weekly. How do you bring it back up to edit it?

I can;t seem to find any list of scheduled jobs.

Thanx.

Hello,

You can open the system Start menu -> Control Panel -> Scheduled Tasks folder and locate the task created by Hello Engines! Select the task and in the right-click menu click Properties, that dialog box provides all required options to schedule the task.

We will implement similar view to manage already existing tasks in the nearest version updates.

Best regards,
