As we don't know your settings for your tasks please try the following
- set up a new task, select the ftp server profil you want to use and choose the desired action (for example download a file from the ftp server)
- when you get to the step "Shedule Task" please make sure that you have selected "Always send email-notification" and that you have entered correct the correct email settings.
- Please have a look at the tab "logging" in the E-Mail Settings. Please check the option "Save Log in the file" and fill in the path and filename where you want your logfile to be created.
- Please also make sure that you have unchecked the option "Delete Task after successful completion" to prevent deleting the task after it has been successfully completed.

This is exactly what I have been doing for the last couple of days. I have tried locating the log in different places. I alwasy uncheck the delete option. I select always email.
The scheduled task runs at the correct time and is not deleted. However there is no log and no email. The task remains in the schedule as pending. However after closing my machine and restarting the task list is empty.
Do you think you can help me solve this or should I look elsewhere for FTP software?
