I keep getting the following error message when trying to connect -

If I try using FTP I get -

! Connecting to themothersofgod.co.uk ... (22/02/2010 19:21:00)
! Unable to connect: themothersofgod.co.uk! (500 Connect error - Connection timed out (#10060))If I try using SFTP I get -

! Connecting to themothersofgod.co.uk ... (22/02/2010 19:58:22)
> Connect to: themothersofgod.co.uk
< Connected to: themothersofgod.co.uk
! Unable to connect: themothersofgod.co.uk! (The current connection has timeout)

I've tried amending my firewall, disabling my firewall. Using passive and active but still no joy. Please help. Many thanks.

which version of WISE-FTP are you using exactely? (Help -> About). What OS are you using?

10060 - Connection timeout: This behavior may occur when the Web Proxy service connection settings do not allow enough time to receive a response from the destination Web site before the service closes the connection. Please check your settings under Options -> Connection and Transfers -> Connection Timeout. Modify the setting to a higher value. Furthermore you should check the setting "Auto-resume interrupted transfers".

I'm using 6.0.6. Have tried changing connection time out to highest possible value but still get the same error messages.

Hello,

there is already a newer version of WISE-FTP 6 available. Please use the integrated Update Manager under File -> Update Manager to update your program to the current version 6.1.4.

Does the error still occur?
