I was using version 3 for some years now and thought about upgrading to version 5, so I purchased this upgrade. When I now open version 3, there is no option to unlock it to version 5. Do I have to install another version of Wise? And what does then happen with all the server profiles which I created? Do I have to create them again?

Hello,

when you have bought version 5 of Wise-FTP, you can download this version here: http://www.wise-ftp.com/downloading.htm and install it on your computer. After this you can go to Help -> Unlock now and follow the activation wizard.

About your already existing server profiles: you can export all your profiles in version 3 and after this import this file into version 5, so that you do not need to create all profiles again.
