When I try to use DVD+RW for backups I get error messages:
Operation: Verifiyng folder "E:"
Result: Disk closed/finalized

I have formated the DVD and the capacity is 4.7 gb
What is the problem and how can I correct it?

Hello,

how did you format the DVD? Please try again with a fresh/deleted/unformatted DVD. Does it work then?

I have found a solution; I edited the volume to change the location to the dvd drive as a local drive and it wrote to the dvd+rw without incedent. Was this the best way to backup to the dvd+rw disc?

Hello,

the actual version of Acebackup has sometimes problems with saving to DVDs. This issue is already fixed and the bugfix will be released with one of the next free updates. Till the release we ask for your patience.
