I have started using version 4.0.2 and I have been disappointed so far with its propensity to simply disconnect itself from the remote site after renames or uploads to the site. It also appears to act quite differently depending whether I upload using drag 'n drop or the upload icon or double click. Drag 'n drop (maybe it's my imagination?) seems to work more reliably... the other alternatives just let the request sit in the transfer queue indefinitely.

Also, from time to time, the program becomes unresponsive - and, even worse, hogs the cpu. I have a hard time killing it - and then it responds with a series of popup boxes each with a different error message in german.

When are the updates coming out? or is this the first you've heard of these problems?

the work on an update for Wise-FTP is already in progress. Unfortunately we can not tell you a fixed release date.

I too have download it. (paid version) It locks up my computer with a logo on the screen.
It worked one time fine and I used it, but then, Nothing. I cannot even get into it to check the settings.

I got the paid version as well and all worked fine for me. Then just a few days ago, it would freeze on the logo screen. I checked my system to find out if anything changed and the only thing that changed was the windows updates ran...

I received the following updates:

KB911562
KB908531
KB912812

After removing these updates, WiseFTP worked again. So can someone from AceBit check into this and see if we can get WiseFTP to work with those updates since those updates are critical.
