I want to delete some pictures from my website.

Everytime I delete them they are instantly reloaded .

I do not want to upadte anything, I dont want to synchronise anything. I just want to delete the folders and the pages so that they are not there then I will put new material up when I am ready.

How do I simply delete stuff.

Please double check in the program options that you enabled "Allow deletion of non-empty folders".

If this option is enabled but folders are still not deleted, then you probably dont have enough rights to delete these folders. In this case it would help if you could post the content of your log (top panel in WISE-FTP), which will contain the error messages

The log shows an error message:

550 (Name of file) Permission denied

I have taken this up with my ISP provider but so far no response from them.

Did they replied so far? We assume that you just have insufficient rights to delete these files.
