Wise-FTP Task Planner has hourly upload of 32mb file. After about 18 hours I noticed the virtual memory was 1.6gb. What can I do to help resolve this problem. This time I ended the process as my computer had become unresponsive (out of physical memory).

Thank you.

Hello,

This of course should not happen. Can you please give us some more information about your current system?

What are the main hardware components of your computer?
What operating system do you use? Service Packs?
What other software is running in the background? (antivirus, firewall etc..)

Please create some other task with maybe some smaller files for hourly upload. Does the problem occur here as well?

Hi Mirko,

Sending email to Mirko support@acebit.com with system information.

I'll setup the test you requested, but it might take a few days to move the 'production' application to another computer.

Thanks,
Tom

With scheduled uploads every five minutes of 1mb file, wise-ftp.exe task has now grown from 28mb to 112mb physical memory, 114mb virtual, after ~50 transfers.

During this time I also used wise-ftp to upload and download small (<20kb) text files to the same server.
