wise ftp crashes when uploading to web site stack overflow

i have been trying to upload tiki wiki to a public folder on my 1 and 1 ftp web hosting site, and wise ftp keeps crashing, giving me a german error message that i assume means stack overflow. I am using version 3.1 that i upgraded from the version i received from 1 and 1.
also, i keep getting a message that the connection to the server has been terminated unexpectedly.
i am running windows xp profession, my virus software is kaspersky version 7, using the windosw xp firewall, and connecting to the internet by cable modem through a netgear router.

could you maybe post us the whole German error message that you receive and send us the FTP log of such a terminated connection (to support@acebit.com)? That would be helpful, thanks.
