I recently changed computers and now operate Wise FTP on my new Asus Eec PC1000HA running Windows XP with 2 Megs RAM.I had no problems on my old laptop with XP but with this one After uploading one file to my website, it will freeze and I have to do a hard close of the program. I realize the notebook computer is not a speedster but I don't know if maybe the settings need to be changed.I am using the same settings as I had on my old laptop. It almost seems like it is out of memory but it is hard to tell.

Oh, that's interesting. I am also using the Wise FTP 3.0 and using it on my Asus netbook. I don't have any trouble and it doesn't freeze after an upload. I think it has to be a wrong setting but since I am not a Wise pro I can only speculate. You can have a look at this Asus Eee 1000 review and see if you find some useful information on the settings of the model. Probably you just have to adjust the settings and try a little, that's time consuming but might work.

Thank you wyeadon. We would also like to add, that you should download the latest release of version 3, which is 3.1.1
